The Mayor of Novosibirsk visited the site of MAKOM Mini Factories
The head of the government of the city of Novosibirsk met with representatives of MAKOM, a producer of mini milk factories, which is a structural subdivision of Inverse CJSC.
The meeting took place while work was underway on the assembly of the largest order in the enterprise’s history, a mini factory module with an area of more than 800 square meters, capable of processing 30 tons of products per day.
During the meeting, it was noted that the expansion of MAKOM’s operations, its transformation from a small business to a medium-sized enterprise, became possible only after it became part of Inverse CJSC. During his meeting with Vladimir Gorodetsky, the General Director of the Inversia holding, Daniil Zherbtzov, commented on the prospects for the development of small entrepreneurship in Novosibirsk and the surrounding area, and noted that these innovative enterprises need to be supported not only with funding, but with management resources as well “when crossing the ‘valley of death’ on the way to growth.” In his turn, the mayor noted the example of cooperation between MAKOM and the local authorities “can serve to demonstrate to new entrepreneurs at the stage of moving from small to intermediate sized business both their risks and how they can effectively take advantage of help from various sources.”
At the end of the meeting, the Department of Industry, Innovations and Entrepreneurship of the mayor of Novosibirsk invited the management of Invese CJSC to a business meeting on questions of further cooperation.
